HOPE/HNEP 2007
HOPE/HNEP 2007 was an unqualified success. We had more attendees than
ever, and the Audience Response System provided real-time feedback on what
participants thought of the topics as the curriculum moved along.
We anticipate repeating HNEP in the Spring and of course,
annually with HOPE in October.

Pain
Management -
including interactive discussion of the use opioids, treatment of neuropathic
pain and methadone prescribing.
Hospice
Eligibility & Regulatory Issues
- including interactive discussion of the hospice benefit, various tools &
guidelines for determine who is eligible, and updates on regulatory changes.
Non-Cancer
Diagnoses & Non-Pain Symptom Management
- various non-cancer conditions will be reviewed using example cases, with the
discussion including management of associated non-pain symptoms
