    TAPM continues its efforts to assist its members in obtaining CME accreditation for their presentations.  We work through the American Academy of Family Physicians to do this, who have revamped their process as of August 2008. 

    There services are only available to members of TAPM and must involve topics related to palliative medicine or hospice.  This service is not free and rules regarding commercial support must be strictly followed in order to meet the requirements for CME accreditation.  These rules continually undergo revision, and anyone making application must comply with the ACCME's Standards for Commercial Support.

    Please look over the attached documents to see if TAPM's services might meet your needs.  Please be aware that applications must be received no later than 6-weeks prior to the presentation.  First-time applicants are encouraged to apply even earlier.  Please call (512-857-1233) or email TAPM with any questions regarding this process.
