TAPM is please to announce a
new educational offering - the TAPM Audio Series. This is a CME-accredited
collection of presentations on topics for physicians and other healthcare
professionals with an interest in hospice & palliative medicine. This is
offered as part of TAPM's mission to support medical education
and the scientific advancement of palliative medicine.

As a service to its
members, TAPM can assist its dues-paying members in getting accreditation for their
presentations. There is a fee for
this, to cover its costs. Click here for more

Need Speakers or Want to Speak?
The Texas Academy of Palliative Medicine is
working diligently to educate physicians about palliative medicine. This
includes providing lectures on a variety of topics, such as the AMA's
Education for Physicians on End-of-life Care (EPEC) curriculum.
To date, TAPM has helped to provide
CME to many physicians and non-physician clinicians across the state.
Please contact TAPM if a speaker is needed for
a palliative care or end-of-life topic. While still an ongoing process, we
have developed an informal speaker's bureau of qualified experts on a variety of such topics.
