Joining TAPM is easy! There are now over 1900 American Board of Hospice and Palliative Medicine certified physicians in the United States, with over 120 of them residing in Texas. That means that these few are spread thin and are located far and wide across this large state. TAPM hopes to help tie together these pioneers in this new and expanding field of medicine. TAPM membership is not limited to only board-certified palliatists. Any Texas physician interested in palliative medicine or hospice care is invited to join and participate. Non-physicians, as well as physicians practicing outside Texas, may also join as associate members. In order to accomplish our goals, the TAPM Executive Board voted at the 2005 Annual meeting to begin assessing dues. For more information on these goals and how this dues structure will work, please review the following links: TAPM Accomplishments & Membership Benefits explains what TAPM has done and how becoming a dues-paying member will both advance the cause of improved hospice and palliative care, but also benefit you as an individual member. Dues are completely tax deductible! TAPM Membership Application is the form to download, print out and return to TAPM, with appropriate dues payments. Please click on PayPal if you wish to make an online credit card payment of your dues.. For more information or any questions on membership, please contact Webmaster. |
