TAPM to Help Accredit CME
After a pilot
project, TAPM is ready to assist its members in accrediting their end-of-life
and other palliative presentations for physician Continuing Medical Education.
Through a relationship with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP),
TAPM can, for a small fee to defray costs, obtain AAFP Prescribed credit
(equivalent to AMA Category 1) for programs designed for and presented to
physicians.
An information packet and application have been placed on the
TAPM website that better explains the process and to facilitate applications.
