TAPM Audio Series
TAPM is please to announce a
new educational offering - the TAPM Audio Series. This is a CME-accredited
collection of presentations on topics for physicians and other healthcare
professionals with an interest in hospice & palliative medicine. This is
offered as part of TAPM's mission to support medical education
and the scientific advancement of palliative medicine.

TNMHO/TAPM 2007 Annual
Meeting
a Success
The annual meeting for
both the Texas Academy of Palliative Medicine and the Texas & New Mexico Hospice
Organization was held in Dallas from March 30th through April 1st, 2007.
With a record number of paid registrants, this was the largest ever state
hospice & palliative care meeting.
The TAPM Annual Business Meeting was held on 3/31/07.
Dr. David Capper assumed the position of TAPM President. Dr. Sue Krauter
was chosen as President-Elect and Dr. Don McLarey will be the new
Secretary-Treasurer. Minutes of the meeting are available

TAPM Exhibits at AAHPM/HPNA in
Salt Lake City
TAPM became the first state
HPM society to sponsor a booth at the annual meeting of the American Academy of
Hospice & Palliative Medicine and
Hospice Palliative Nurse Association in Salt Lake City during February 2007.
Our goal of increasing our exposure and improving the recognition of our
organization was an unqualified success. Click

TNMHO/TAPM 2006 Annual Meeting a success
The Texas & New
Mexico Hospice Organization holds its annual meeting each Spring. For the
third consecutive year, The Texas Academy of Palliative Medicine sponsored physician CME accredited tracks as part of the 2006 program
from March 17th through the 19th. This included 2-1/2 days of CME, with multiple tracks during most of the meeting. As in prior years, TAPM hosted the
'Advanced Clinical Track,' of interest to experienced physicians practicing
hospice and palliative medicine. The other track was for more general
topics.
The Annual Business meeting
